So, it's officially Autumn. Cue pumpkin spice lattes and Instagram feeds full of chunky knit cardigans and fallen leaves. Right?
Instead of the traditional autumnal reds and browns, this styling story is all about YELLOW. We chose a rich mustard hue as our bright accent, with a slight nod to the changing colours of the seasons. With the autumnal instincts to layer up fluffy textures, we've paired our signature cocktail chair restored in a mustard coloured Svensson BALANCE fabric with a grey marl wool cushion to capture that cosy feeling. This is balanced out with a sleeker brushed cotton from Kirkby's Sahara range on a retro Cintique chair.
Highlighting and complementing the rich yellows are golden metallic accessories like this covetable brass Tom Dixon teapot and plant pot from Cooee. Layering pictures, plants and our favourite Nor-Folk calendar against a dramatic black wall is an easy way to create visual texture, again subtly creating a cosier feel to interiors as we delve into the colder seasons.
